Hi! My name is Lola! I’m a 5 year old boerboel, presa, French mastiff, English mastiff, Rottweiler mix. But don’t let those breeds make you think I’m fierce or scary at all. I look like a giant pug and my human children like to say to me “dog, pig, dog, pig, loaf of bread, system error.” My parents call me a sweet potato. You see I have epilepsy and I take a lot of medication. My seizures are mostly managed and I feel pretty great most of the time as long as I’m getting snacks, snuggles and I’m wearing one of my favorite sweaters. I think I am pretty lucky, as soon as I got diagnosed with epilepsy my previous owner took me to the humane society and they called my now mom because they knew she would love me! Now I have lots of furry, feathered and human brothers and sisters. My medicine makes me really hungry and gain weight. My parents work really hard to keep me healthy and they even put me on a ketogenic diet for me to lose a bunch of it, now we just work on portion control and if I’m still hungry I can have some green beans or blueberries. I am the sweetest most docile dog ever, I love everybody and everything…. well except for the cold and rain. I would love to be a therapy dog. I would do almost anything for a snack or a treat! I love any extra supplements added to my food. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me! I hope we can chat soon!
