Booking animal talent on The Animal List is simple and straightforward. You can book directly or through a casting call, depending on your preference. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.

Booking Animal Talent Directly

1. Find Animal Talent:

Browse through the listings to find the animal talent that fits your needs. Use filters to narrow down your search based on criteria such as type of animal, location, category, price and more advanced filters.

2. Review Listings:

★ Click on the animal talent listing to view details, including their profile, package offerings, photos, and rates. Ensure the talent meets your requirements.

★ Each listing can have up to 3 packages (basic, advanced and elite) each will have a different rate and offerings. Make sure you select the one that best suits your needs. You also can pay for add-ons if needed on your job.

★ If the listing doesn't fit, check out their Petfolio for one that's more appropriate or contact them on platform to negotiate and ask them to make any necessary adjustments to their listing.

3. Select Dates:

★ For Multiple Days: If you need the animal for several days, select the start and end dates. For example, if you need a dog for a movie on two separate days, select both dates. Your total charge will be calculated based on the daily rate (e.g., $100 per day x 2 days = $200 total).

★ For Projects: For influencers or creative projects, select the final date of the project as the completion date. This is the date when payment will be processed.

4. Request to Book:

Click the Request to Book button. Ensure that you’ve selected the correct dates and reviewed the job scope, including any special requirements or add-ons.

5. Confirm and Pay:

Once you’ve provided the necessary information, review the terms and conditions, including pricing. Select the final date for the job and any add-ons. Your payment will be put on hold until the job is confirmed by the animal talent. At that point your card will be charged.

6. Complete the Job:

On the completion date, confirm that the job is done. The payment will be released to the talent upon confirmation or 14 days after the end date if not marked completed. At that time, you can also leave a review for the animal talent.

Booking Animal Talent Through a Casting Call

1. Create a Casting Call:

Navigate to the Create a Casting Call section. Fill in details about the project, including the type of animal talent needed, job description, and required dates. Be sure to be as detailed as possible. IT IS FREE to make as many casting calls as you need.

2. Publish the Casting Call:

Once your casting call is complete, publish it to make it visible to potential talent. Animal talent will be able to apply directly to your casting call.

3. Review Applications:

Review the applications received from animal talent. Assess their profiles, past work, and suitability for your project. Confirm they have a package that matches your criteria and rate - you can request they update this, so you are protected within our terms and conditions.

4. Select and Book Talent:

Choose the animal talent that best fits your needs. Proceed to finalize the booking by following the payment and confirmation process outlined above.

5. Manage Your Booking:

Stay in touch with the talent and manage the booking details through your account. Ensure all terms are clear and confirmed before the job starts.
