Creating an account on The Animal List is your first step toward hiring top-tier animal talent or listing your own animal services. Whether you're a buyer looking to book animal talent or a seller ready to showcase your services, this guide will walk you through the simple steps of setting up your profile (or what we call a PETfolio).

Step 1: Choose Your Account Type

The Animal List offers two types of accounts:

Buyer Account: Ideal for individuals or businesses looking to hire animal talent. Whether you need an animal actor for a film, a therapy animal for an event, or a pet influencer for a marketing campaign, the buyer account is your gateway to connecting with the right talent.

Seller Account: Perfect for those who want to list their animal talent for hire. If you own an animal with special skills, are a professional animal wrangler, or run an animal-related service, this account will help you reach potential clients.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Follow these steps to create your account:

1. Sign Up

Go to The Animal List homepage and click Join

2. Click Sign up with Email

Enter your email address and password.

Note:* You can also join with Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn.

3. Choose Your Account Type:

Select either a buyer account - "Seeking Animal Talent" or a seller account - "Offering Animal Talent" based on your needs.

Step 4 where you add your personal details

4. Fill Out Your Details:

Enter your name, display name, profile picture, a description about yourself. If you'd like you can also add a website.

Note For Sellers

If you are a seller that is offering animal talent, you will have to choose your account type before providing your personal details. AS SEEN BELOW

5. Verify Your Email:

Check your inbox for a verification email and follow the link to confirm your account.

Step 3: Finalize Your Setup

For Sellers:

For seller accounts, add your payment details by connecting to Stripe

1. Connect Your Payment Details: Add your Stripe payment information to ensure you can receive payments for your bookings.

For a seller account, create listing(s) to showcase your animal talent services

2. Create Listing(s): Once your payment details are set up, create your listing(s) to showcase your animal talent services.

For Buyers:

1. Start Browsing: Once you've verified your email, you're ready to get started! You can immediately begin searching our extensive catalog of animal talent.

2. Create A Casting Call: To streamline your search and attract the best talent, we recommend creating a FREE casting call. This allows you to specify exactly what you're looking for and receive applications from the perfect animal talents for your needs.
